Under the rose

Seems like summer isn’t ready to leave us yet! Nevertheless, I decided it’s time to stock up on some fall beauty essentials. My partner in crime? Under the rose of Lancôme.

Lancôme L’absolu Rouge // I like to wear bolder makeup for fall, so of course a shade called “berry noir” would be on my lips this season! L’absolu rouge is a hydrating matte lipstick, so say goodbye to dry lips. I can definitely wear this  all day long without feeling like I want to take it off. It’s sleek, click-to-open packaging will make it difficult to resist a reapply, definitely! But believe me, when you pull that one out of your purse and click it, everyone will be wondering what kind of Mata Hari device you have there!

Lancôme Grandiôse Liner // Of course a gorgeous liner could not be missing from my essentials! The Grandiôse Liner is equipped with a wand that can bend at 35 degrees and allows you to have the most precise and easy-to-apply liner application! The finish of the liner is of course matte and this one can also last all day long!

Lancôme Miracle Air De Teint Foundation // You already know I am a fan of weightless foundations. For the colder seasons though, I like to have a bit more coverage. This is where the Miracle Air de Teint comes in with its liquid-to-powder formula and matte finish! If you’re looking for a “no-makeup” foundation, this should be your friend, as it is mine!

  1. So that foundation turns to powder? I’d love to be able to skip powdering after applying foundation! 🙂
    Great pictures by the way!

    Love, Ronna!

    1. It truly turns really matte but not drying. You could skip powdering but I tend to apply just the smallest amount so that it holds better throughout the day.

    1. Hey Alyssa! I think it will since it has a smooth powder finish, but I would suggest adding some setting powder after, just because it’s a water-based foundation. 🙂

    1. You’re definitely right! I love bolder lips during Autumn and that berry is gorgeous! You should definitely try it! 🙂

  2. This lipstick is gorgeous, hun! I definitely need to try this one. Could you tell if it is cold or warm tone based? Also, such a lovely post! Always a pleasure to read.
